Presets: add a saved list of products and services to a sale in one go
Stock → Presets → New preset: name it and add the products and services it always needs. On a sale, quotation or estimate type its name in the item search or press Preset; every item lands as its own line, ready to change or remove.
You need: Business plan or above; Presets permission group to make them, Sale permission to use them
- Open Stock → Presets and press New preset.
- Name it (for example Static Website or Full Car Service) and add each product and service from the two search boxes.
- Set the quantity, the unit and, if the price is always the same, a fixed price; leave the price blank to use the day's price. Save.
- On a sale, quotation, estimate or proforma, type a word of the preset's name in the item search and pick the row marked Preset, or press Preset in the foot of the search sheet and choose it.
- Every item is now its own line. Change a quantity or price, or remove a line the customer does not want, as for any other line.

Questions people ask
Is a preset sold as one item with one price?
No. The customer sees and pays for the individual products and services. The preset only saves the searching.
If I change a preset later, do old quotations change?
No. A document keeps its own lines; the preset is used only at the moment its items are added.
Can a preset hold both products and services?
Yes. Products behave as products (stock, batches, MRP) and services as services once they are on the sale.
