Send a proposal with estimates and a payment schedule
Proposals → New: the customer, the letter on your letterhead, the scope, estimates with alternatives, the payment schedule and your terms. Send makes a version and a link; Accept freezes it; instalments are collected as advances.
You need: Proposals add-on; Proposal permission
- Open Proposals and press New; pick the customer.
- Write the letter, list the scope, add estimates (with alternatives if you offer them), the payment schedule and the terms.
- Press Send: a version is saved and a link is made for the customer.
- When they accept, press Accept: the version is frozen. Collect instalments as advances on the customer's account.

Can I change a proposal after sending?
Yes; the next Send makes a new version, and the customer's link shows the latest.
