# Send a proposal with estimates and a payment schedule

## Steps

1. Open Proposals and press New; pick the customer.
2. Write the letter, list the scope, add estimates (with alternatives if you offer them), the payment schedule and the terms.
3. Press Send: a version is saved and a link is made for the customer.
4. When they accept, press Accept: the version is frozen. Collect instalments as advances on the customer's account.

## Questions

**Can I change a proposal after sending?**
Yes; the next Send makes a new version, and the customer's link shows the latest.
