The day at a hardware shop
Wires by the metre and the coil, switches by the piece and the box, pipes by the length. Suppliers quote “30% off MRP”. Contractors take goods against a running account and settle at the end of the job. Half the sales start as a quotation.

My supplier gives 30% off MRP. Can the app work out my buying price?
Yes. Advanced buying price (Business and above) takes the MRP or dealer price and the discount and fills in the buying price.
Can I give a quotation and turn it into a bill later?
Yes. Quotations, estimates and proforma invoices are made on the sale screen and converted to a sale when the customer agrees.
Can I find a part by the maker's product code?
Yes. A product carries the manufacturer's code beside your barcode, and search finds it by either.
