Billing software for a grocery store or supermarket
Fast scanning, weights and packs, expiry by batch, and cash drawers that get counted. NegoBill bills by barcode in a second, sells by kilo or by pack, and tells you what is running out and what is about to expire.
The day at a grocery store
Hundreds of bills, each of ten or twenty lines, scanned fast. Rice by the kilo, biscuits by the pack, both from the same shelf. Batches of the same product with different expiry dates. Cash in two drawers that must match at closing.
How NegoBill handles it
- Scan, Enter, next: the sale screen is built for a scanner; a wrong quantity is fixed in the row without leaving the keyboard.
- Units and packs: piece, dozen, box, kg, each with its own price on Business and above.
- Batches and expiry: stock enters as a batch with manufacturing and expiry dates; sales take the oldest first; the stock report shows what expires next.
- Counters and Box Cash: each counter’s drawer is an account; the day’s cash in and out is a day book; the evening count records over or short as a number.
- Printing: a 3-inch receipt on any thermal printer through the free Windows print utility, or a phone with a Bluetooth printer.
- Staff: cashiers get their own login and see no buying prices unless allowed.
Which plan
Business (₹5,499 a year): ten staff logins, more units and prices per product, advanced buying price, one outlet included for the second branch. A single-counter kirana starts on Plus.
Questions people ask
Can I sell by weight?
Yes. A product's primary unit can be kg with a price per kg; quantity is typed as 0.250 or 1.5 and the line prices itself.
Does it warn about expiry?
The stock report shows the nearest expiry per product and stock is sold oldest batch first.
Can two counters bill at once?
Yes. Counters each have their own cash drawer and session; sales carry the counter that made them.
