Open a job card and bill from it
Job Cards → New: the customer, the job type, what came in and what is wrong, the estimate and any advance. Move it through the statuses; when it is done, Bill from the card puts services and parts on one sale with the advance deducted.
You need: Job Cards add-on; Job card permission
- Open Job Cards and press New. Pick the customer (add one on the spot if new).
- Choose the job type; fill its intake checklist (device, serial, problem, accessories received). Type the estimate.
- Take an advance if any; it is recorded as the customer's payment.
- As work proceeds, add tasks and parts, and move the status: received, in progress, ready, delivered.
- Press Bill from the card. The sale opens with the services and parts as lines; Proceed as for any sale. The advance is already deducted.

Questions people ask
The repair cannot be done.
Close the card as cannot do or returned, and refund or keep the advance as agreed; the card records the outcome.
Can I print the job card for the customer?
Yes: A4 or receipt size, with the status and the estimate.
