Ledger & Box Cash
Every sale, receipt, purchase and expense posts to a double-entry ledger you never have to touch. Box Cash shows each cash drawer's day and lets you count it, so cash over or short is a number, not a guess.
Where does my money sit, and does it match the drawer?
- Accounts for cash boxes, banks, UPI and wallets; payment methods point at them
- Pay In / Pay Out, supplier payments, refunds — each a document you can void, never edit
- Daily count of a cash box against what the books say
- Statements per account and per contact
- Trial balance always zero: the books cannot drift
Where it lives
Available on: Plus and above (Box Cash on every plan). On the web app at app.negobill.com, and on the NegoBill Android and iOS apps with the same account.
Step by step
- Count the cash box and record over or short — Box Cash shows each cash box or drawer, the day's cash in and out, and what should be in it now. Type what you counted; the difference is recorded as over or short, and nothing else changes.
- Pay a supplier (Paid cash) — On the supplier's contact press Paid: the method, the amount, and the invoices it settles, oldest first by default. A voucher is numbered and the supplier's due drops.
