Delete your NegoBill account
The owner deletes the account from inside NegoBill, in a minute. The business is deactivated at once and every record is permanently deleted 30 days later. During those 30 days only the owner can sign in, and only to reactivate it.
Steps
- Sign in as the owner at app.negobill.com, or in the NegoBill app on your phone.
- Open Settings → Account → Delete account…
- NegoBill sends a 6-digit code to your mobile number by SMS (or to your email if the login has no mobile number); you can ask for it by the other channel instead.
- Type the business name exactly, tick the confirmation, press Delete.
- The business is deactivated immediately: staff logins, outlets, shared bill links and the connected AI apps stop working. Sign in as the owner within 30 days to reactivate; otherwise everything is purged and nothing can be recovered.
In the Android and iOS apps the door is the same: Settings → Account → Delete account, with the same code, the same typed name and the same 30 days.

What is deleted
Your account and sign-in, the business and its stores and outlets, products, stock and batches, customers and suppliers, sales, quotations, purchases, payments, expenses, ledger entries, reports, job cards, staff logins and permissions, settings, printer set-ups, images and documents, and every AI-assistant connection. Staff logins belong to the business and are deleted with it.
What is kept, and for how long
Only the tax invoices NegoBill issued to you for your subscription, for as long as Indian tax law requires them to be kept. Technical server logs are kept only as long as security and fault-finding need them and are not part of your business records. Nothing else survives the purge.
Delete only some data
Settings → Account → Reset business data… wipes every transaction, product and contact but keeps the account, stores and staff logins, for a shop that wants to start again. Individual customers, products and staff logins can be removed one by one inside the app.
