# Sign up and start your free trial

> Create a NegoBill account at app.negobill.com: your name, the shop's name, an email or phone and a password, verify with an OTP, pick a plan, and the 15-day trial starts. No card.

## Steps

1. Open https://app.negobill.com (or the NegoBill app) and choose Register.
2. Type your name, your business name, your email, and a password; confirm the password.
3. Enter the one-time password sent to your email, then the one sent to your phone.
4. Pick the plan to try. Every plan has a 15-day free trial; you can move up any time.
5. You land on the dashboard. Settings → Profile is where the shop's address and GST number go.

## After you sign up

Set the shop up in this order: **Profile** (name, address, GST number, what prints on bills), **Payment Settings** (Cash, UPI, bank, card, and the accounts they land in), then **Products** and **Contacts**, importing from Excel if you have them. Then make a test sale, print it, and you are ready.

## Questions

**Do I need a card to start?**
No. The trial needs no payment. At the end you pay by UPI or bank transfer and the plan is switched on the same day.

**Can I try Business or Pro instead of Starter?**
Yes. Every plan has its own trial.
